Water heating in Oman may account for approximately 20–25% of the total electric energy used in a typical single-family home. An electric water heater is the single biggest energy user of all appliances in the home after air conditioners. SWH can be used in any climate, and the fuel they use (sunshine) is free.
For this reason, the practical energy demands of power and heat energy (reactive heat and evaporative heat) are recalculated at a given amount of the reactant, as shown in Fig. 10.
